Existing companies create their Web sites and develop Web strategies while looking for ways to reduce their costs by automating. A large number of IT specialists will be needed to maintain systems, improve existing networks, implement new strategies, maximize global connections.

The Faculty of Informatics prepares IT and Information Technology specialists who can take on a wide range of jobs: software programmers, WEB site designers, computer system designers and network services, computer science researchers, businesses , Administration, multimedia creation offices, consultancy, computer science teachers, computer scientists, computer network administrators, database administrators.

Bachelor’s degree programs, the Informatics specialization, with the forms of full time and distance education, are accredited according to Government Decision no. 707/2012 for the approval of the Nomenclature of the academic domains and specializations / programs of academic studies accredited or authorized to operate temporarily, the geographical locations of deployment, the number of transferable credits for each university program, the form of education and the teaching language, As well as the maximum number of students who can be taught in the academic year 2012 – 2013, the Master’s degree program “Security of Information Systems and Information Networks” is accredited according to the MECTS Order no. 4945 / 31.07.2012 regarding the fields and programs of master’s degree studies evaluated by the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education organized within the higher education institutions, and the Master’s degree program “Applied Informatics in Medical Imaging” is accredited according to Address ARACIS no.5415 / 20.06.2013.
