The faculty trains specialists in psychology, thoroughly preparing them for jobs such as: psychologists, teachers, special consultants for different institutions and organizations. The undergraduate courses, comprised in three years of study, give students the opportunity to learn about social, cognitive and therapeutic aspects of psychology. Students also benefit from practical activities, organized within Romanian governmental and non-governmental institutions, (hospitals, high schools, sports clubs etc).

Academics and trainers at the Faculty of Psychology are renowned professionals in the field, some of them being members of the Romanian Academy or of different scientific international organizations.

The laboratories have modern equipment, relevant to students' theoretical preparation. Both the Laboratory for Experimental Psychology and Psycho diagnosis and the Laboratory of Computer Science for Psychologists have computer networks and specialized programmes in interactive training.

The Faculty of Psychology also organizes workshops and summer schools for those who want to look into the study of psychology.

The Faculty of Psychology administers the Teacher Training Department of Titu Maiorescu University.
